I knew we'd be hearing from the Netherlands before long. Maybe Olav & hb2 can persuade Terry to bring us more Kixie. Please, Terry? Pretty please with oreos?

well, I haven't got it yet since I'm short of cash and rat food has priority over comics (sorry, but the babies come first). And while I'm a tad disappionted to hear that the comics weren't inked (and I so loved seeing the original sketch of Kixie not only inked but Colored -oh swoon- ) I was expecting this 2nd issue to be all the ones he had done online in paper. That's why I wanted to get it and I personally am glad he did it. I have recently discovered the pain of having something only on computer and not paper... paper can get wet, or burned, or crumpled... but it dosen't disappear irrevoably if the power surges...

I don't mind the roughs, as long as they stay four-to-a-page. Why those syndicates were not thrilled, I'm not sure.
Too #3 seems to feature more of the polar bear, at least on the cover. I saw it in a black and white catalog, and I can't imagine how or if Terry is going to add color.
If Kixie ever takes off, Wonderland could always be a strip-within-a-strip, like Jump Start has the ficticious 'Eskimo Joe' or whatever it's called. Kixie would be a fan, I'm sure...

Hello, I'm new to the site but not new to the delights of Terry's work.
I just got Paradise too 2 and It's the first time I've met Kixie. I'm charmed - I reckon everyone should have a Kixie...
She deserves her own comic book, and a strawberry cake shop.

Allow me to be the first to welcome Littlemissd to the circle. It is customary to partake from the ceremonial bag of oreos, which we've been passing around since before I got here. How the crystallized sugar shimmers in the monitor light!
Wow, one post. One... that's about the pH level of my homemade lemonade. Better take some of that too. Don't let it touch your teeth. (wince)
I was trying to place a name, now where was I?
Yukon Trev...
Siskyu Lou?...
The Nyuk-Nyuk Canuck...
(About oh-three-hundred, it'll hit me...)

Seeing the rough pencils was quite interesting as I've just finished a stint of How to draw cartoons at night school. Grace's boss in strip 14 looks just like a face we had to draw from our notes on faces. I turned mine into a 2 slice toaster with a face a la Disney style because that's what it looked like. I liked the Beeps 1 page bus stop pic, I appreciate the potential of the slacker attitude.
